History
Blood n Fire Ministries was started by David & Janice Van Cronkhite in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992. Initially, a number of people from a suburban church went to the inner city on Saturdays to feed the poor.
In 1996, John & Suzanne Wallace were introduced to the Van Cronkhites by a mutual friend at a conference on ministering to the poor. The Lord had been speaking to the Wallaces and others about “going to the streets” from their church in Garland, Texas. The Father’s House, a residential discipleship environment for young men. The Compassion House, a residential discipleship environment for young women.
