DCA Committees

These are the committees defined within Dallas Claims Association. Click the view members link or the committee name to see a list of committee members. Created by the DCA Bylaws, this committee coordinates the Standing Rules which outlines the activities and finances of the organization.
Monitoring the changing legal climate, committee members focus on internal communication with industry professionals to keep our state-wide network up-to-date on critical and emerging claims management risks and solutions.
The committee serves as point-of contact and responsible to locate/post/maintain job opportunities to the career center.
To coordinate presenters and sponsors for the monthly luncheons and webinars plus the bi-annual all-day seminars. The committee also coordinate the education articles, videos and podcasts created by/for DCA.
The PR/SM committee plays a key role in the success of DCA's marketing arm - between Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter platforms while maintaining communication and press releases to the insurance media community.
Coordinate DCA and Promote Member Happy Hour Opportunities
Since 2020, DCA has held its Annual TopGolf Kickoff - Charity & Membership Drive with drinks, entertainment and networking under the stars. A portion of all proceeds benefiting the DCA Scholarship Fund. DCA is recognized by IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
Since 1985, Dallas Claims has held it's Annual Golf Classic Charity Tournament. A portion of all proceeds help support DCA Charities and the DCA Scholarship Fund. DCA is recognized by IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
Since 2021, DCA has held its Annual Kickball BBQ Cornhole Family Picnic. DCA supplies the food, our partners supply the drinks, and members supply the families... for a great summer afternoon.
Since 2010, DCA has held its Annual Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament and Social with a portion of all proceeds benefiting the DCA Scholarship Fund. DCA is recognized by IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
Audit Committee
Committee is responsible for oversight of the financial reporting process including tax exempt filings with the IRS.
